While an agricultural company at heart, at JF Hudson we put our can-do attitude to work for non-farming customers that need help.
For the best part of 2021, we provided project support to Eurofins Covid Testing Services Ltd (ECTS). Eurofins is a global market leader in testing and laboratory services and following the outbreak of Covid-19, has established widespread testing capabilities. The business had a sudden need to rollout a national network of Covid testing facilities so we stepped in.
Working with both Eurofins and its own clients, for nine months we assisted ECTS who provided Covid tests for international travel. ECTS offers testing via their network of drive-throughs, sampling sites, and home testing kits.
Initially, the job was to sort Covid testing dropboxes located throughout the UK, however, in order to meet ever-evolving project needs, the remit was expanded to see us provide marketing, sales, and customer relationship support.
Among other tasks, we took on the following:
- Prepared, installed and dispatched a national network of Covid test sample postboxes
- Requirements gathering
- Project planning and delivery
- Supply chain and logistics
- Liaising with customers, employees, suppliers & contractors
- Undertaking ad hoc project tasks
- Creation & delivery of training packages
- Business admin & data entry
- Document production (risk assessments, display materials, reports)
- PA support to senior management team
- Creation of marketing materials
- Customer service support
- Project wrap-up: Planning, collection and coordination of equipment upon site closures
- Receipt, consolidation, stocktake, packing and dispatch of goods
