JF Hudson have done various CAD n Cut jobs for us over the last few years. They produced park rail and ha-ha fence posts to save us a lot of time had we made these in-house.
James produced us some bolt box plates to sink into concrete for making the foundations for a shed. He did a cracking job as he supplied 1,000 at a time. Again, we could make them ourselves but we’re better spending the time on welding sheds and doing less repetitive work.
He sorted a locking head yoke weight for us and a farmer. The problem was that the lock was too light and the cows could release themselves because it wasn’t heavy enough to be held in place. By adding a couple of steel plates and increasing the weight, he solved the problem. The shape it needed to be meant it would have been time consuming for us to make by hand.
The jobs we ask JF Hudson to do are mainly repetitive. They get these sorted which means it frees up our own men so they can get on with other jobs which increases our capacity on projects.
